The Purpose

So the purpose must be stated- and set forth at the beginning of one's endeavors in order for it to go anywhere. This blog is two-fold in it's purpose. One is immediate, the other life-long.

I desire to share with friends, family, and unsuspecting stumblers some of my favorite recipes, crafts, seasonal activities, and passions. Housecleaning tips, homeschooling stories, and other interesting tid bits..

I also desire to create for my children a resource where they can go some day down the road and have those cherished recipes for mom's soups, candies, cookies, cakes, and other specialties... I want them to remember that they had fun, and much like a scrapbook, will be able to revisit over and over.

This month's theme is recipes... I want to post 2 unique recipes a day for a month. Each major holiday month will be holiday themed with a craft, recipe or home decorating idea related to that holiday.

I'll post the new month's topic a few days before the month starts :)
